Caribbean Dawn overlooks Boston Bay – the most consistent and popular surf spot in Jamaica. Although popular, “crowds” are usually small and consist of a handful of surfers working 2-3 different peaks across the bay. Mid-week sessions are virtually empty while the youth are in school.
You can walk down the hill and then a quarter mile along the road to reach Boston Bay from Caribbean Dawn – a fifteen-minute walk. Or, drive down in about 5 minutes.There are numerous surf breaks close by. More often than not, you will be the only ones there.
