Caribbean Dawn overlooks Boston Bay in Portland Parish, Jamaica, West Indies. Portland Parish is known for its lush, rugged beauty. Most people come here to “get away from it all” (the city, crowds of people, traffic, pollution, hustle and bustle, etc.). The lifestyle is SLOW and laid back. The land is fertile. The people are friendly. Yet, there is still plenty to see and do. Or choose to do nothing at all.

Each of the spots shown above is close to Caribbean Dawn and is a pleasurable day or half-day trip. The photo above is famous Boston Bay which is just a short walk down the hill from Caribbean Dawn.

Other cool places nearby include Long Bay, Winnifred Beach, The Blue Lagoon, Folly Ruins & Port Antonio Lighthouse, Reach Falls, Some rest Falls, Port Antonio town (harbor, market place, bakeries, restaurants, etc.), Rio Grande River, Morant Point Lighthouse.
